Share an observation

Write down what you personally saw or heard at a New Haven polling place. It takes about two minutes. You can add several observations for the same polling place.

Is something wrong right now?

This form cannot fix a problem while it is happening. Tell the moderator at the polling place. On Election Day you can also call Connecticut's hotline at 866-SEEC-INFO (866-733-2463) or the New Haven Registrar of Voters at (203) 946-8035.

Submissions are unverified firsthand reports. They are not official findings, election challenges or a substitute for contacting election officials. We do not ask for, and ask you not to include, political affiliation, candidate preferences, ballot choices, immigration status or anyone's personal details.

Where and when

For example: Wilbur Cross High School, or the school or building name on the sign.

Enough for someone to find it. A street name is fine.

What you noticed

Observation 1

Your observation

Choose 'Unable to determine' if you did not have the chance to notice this. That is a normal answer.

Describe it in your own words. Facts, not conclusions. No names of voters. Example: At about 7:15 a.m. the side door marked Accessible Entrance was locked. A worker opened it when I asked.

Approximate is fine.
